Dune Terms of Use

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms govern your use of Dune (the “App”), provided by Yoshinn CO., LTD. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Service

Dune provides a virtual altar, meditation, daily-practice records, user-selected materials, content-package creation and import, and optional creator verification. Ordinary use does not require an account. Dune is a digital aid for religious, wellness, and lifestyle practices; it is not medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice and does not guarantee spiritual, therapeutic, or other outcomes.

3. On-device data

Many settings, backgrounds, music, wishes, practice and meditation records, and content packages are stored on your device. You are responsible for backups. Deleting the App, device failure, or operating-system actions may cause data loss.

4. User content

You must have all rights and permissions needed for images, audio, documents, text, and other materials you add, create, import, or share. You may not use unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or rights-infringing materials. When importing a third-party content package, verify its sender and contents. A verification badge confirms creator information only; it does not guarantee content safety, accuracy, religious views, or results.

5. Thirty-day free experience

First-time use includes a 30-day free experience managed locally on the device. It is not an Apple auto-renewable trial and does not automatically charge you when it ends. Continued access afterward requires your explicit purchase of a monthly or yearly subscription in the App Store.

6. Auto-renewable subscriptions

Subscription name, benefits, price, and period are shown in the App and App Store at purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID after confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge within 24 hours before renewal.

Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Dune, or from “Manage Subscription” in the App. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. “Restore Purchase” restores entitlement for the same Apple ID, not on-device data. Refund requests are submitted to Apple and decided under Apple’s rules.

7. Creator verification

Creator verification is optional. Applicants must provide accurate information and documents relating to themselves or a subject they are authorized to represent. We may request reasonable additional material or a live check. We may reject or revoke verification for false information, impersonation, altered documents, abuse, failure to meet requirements, or another legitimate reason.

8. Prohibited conduct

• Violating law or third-party rights
• Misusing the App, subscriptions, verification, or content packages
• Circumventing or altering security, signatures, purchase status, or access restrictions
• Distributing malware, harmful files, or deceptive content
• Interfering with the App or another person’s use

9. Intellectual property

Rights in the App, its code, design, trademarks, and built-in materials belong to us or their lawful owners. These Terms grant only a personal, non-exclusive right to use the App. Rights in lawful user content remain with the user or its owner.

10. Changes and availability

We may update, change, suspend, or end features for quality, security, legal, or operational reasons. Device, network, Apple services, maintenance, or events beyond our control may temporarily affect availability.

11. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” without a promise of uninterrupted, error-free operation on every device. Except where liability cannot legally be limited, we are not liable for indirect or special loss, lost profits, loss of on-device data, or harm caused by third-party content.

12. Minors

Minors must use the App and purchase subscriptions with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

13. Privacy

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for changes in law, Apple rules, or the App. Updated Terms apply from the effective date shown on our official website.

15. Governing law

Japanese law governs these Terms without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve disputes through discussion.
